Lee’s Art Exhibition
About the event: Lee’s Art Exhibition was hosted at a secret location in the Fell's Point neighborhood of Baltimore, MD. Fell's Point is a historic waterfront neighborhood in southeastern Baltimore, Maryland. The area has many music and antique shops, cozy boutiques, waterfront restaurants, and coffee bars.
This was Ms. Troy’s first art exhibition where guests had the unique experience of exploring her artistic expression. Her latest pieces included a variety of sculptures, plaster art, paintings, and other unique works of art. Guests were also encouraged to explore their own creative sides and network with like-minded, artistic people!
Hands of Creation
About the event: Hands of Creation was a 6-week art class that tasked participants with creating a visual representation of their spiritual journey with God. By utilizing the mediums of drywall and plaster, participants created 3-dimensional depictions of the current status of their faith walk and where they desire it to go.
The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition
About the event: The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition was an exciting opportunity to show new and innovative work while gaining exposure to an extensive international audience. A panel of jurors awarded visual artists from around the world with more than $70,000 in valuable prizes. Ms. Troy submitted sculpture art entitled, “My Father’s Feet” in which she pays homage to her visually impaired father- a major influencer of her work. “Without being able to see her pieces, he explores them through touch. She wants for her viewers to explore every intentionally placed groove and indentation as if they were her father, getting to know the piece for the first time.”- Sabrina Gilbertson
Children's Paint Party
About the event: Ms. Troy hosted a paint party to celebrate a birthday. The event served as celebratory social gathering and class, where juice, snacks, and conversation flowed freely as she utilized her professional artistry to guide the children step-by-step through recreating a masterpiece.
